You may not have thought about it, but Pac-Man is essentially the first Main Character in Videogame History. The impact that he had on Gaming was massive. He showcased the potential of having a main character in your games, he showcased the potential of having Power-Ups, and is essentially the first Video Game Mascot. Of course, as the Grandfather of Gaming, he would release a lot of games, up to 40+ years worth of them, he would go 3D, he would hit the mobile market, he even has a live action movie in the works, needless to say, he has a lot of material to go through.
